As Kaggle Days community managers, we love to support other valuable initiatives and community empowering activities. We believe in collaboration and sharing. That is why we organized our first online meetup with deeplearning.ai.
deeplearning.ai community a global, diverse network of deep learners passionate about learning and building AI. The meetup series, Pie & AI, typically includes conversations with AI leaders, thought-provoking discussions, networking opportunities, hands-on project practice, and pie.
Our first online meetup was about what's new and fresh in the industry. Two amazing speakers agreed to give a talk:
dr Piotr Ćwikliński: graduated from Gdansk University of Technology and University of Camerino in 2011. He holds PhD in Physics from University of Gdansk in 2016. He is a co-author of 10 scientific publications in per-reviewed journals, ranging such topics as quantum thermodynamics, fermionic quantum computing, quantum cryptography and quantum cloning. He was also a grant holder of two projects from National Science Centre (NCN). After graduation, Piotr worked as Data Scientist and gathered experience in machine learning modeling as well as big data process automation and productionization. Currently, he works as a Senior Data Scientist for IQVIA.

Valeryi Babushkin: Kaggle Competition Grandmaster - Top 30, Director of Data Science, professional manager with a deep knowledge of ML, Analytics, and Software Engineering who leads teams at scale to build innovative businesses. He aquired first-hand experience of setting things up in startup acquired by a tech giant as well as setting a new business area in one of the largest companies in Europe, I built a multi-department team from a headcount of 5 to 200 when the time was precious.
